【环球时报-环球网报道 记者 张志文】The UAE Ministry of Defense's social media account stated on March 1 that since the attack on February 28, three individuals have died in the UAE, specifically citizens from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Additionally, 58 individuals from the UAE, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, and Afghanistan have sustained minor injuries.
The UAE Ministry of Defense reported that since the 28th, a total of 165 ballistic missiles have been detected, of which 152 were destroyed and 13 fell into the sea; 2 cruise missiles were detected and destroyed; and 541 drones were detected, with 506 intercepted and destroyed, while 35 entered the territory, causing casualties and property damage. Notably, on the morning of March 1, 21 drones struck civilian targets.
The UAE stated that due to the air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles and drones, debris from the fallen objects has caused minor to moderate material damage to some civilian properties.
