On September 24 local time, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported that Kyiv was subjected to a large-scale attack by Russian forces in the early hours of the day, resulting in 2 deaths and at least 8 injuries so far. Multiple areas in Kyiv experienced fires and damage to facilities. On the same day, the military and civil administration of Odesa Oblast reported that Russian forces launched a large-scale joint attack on civilian infrastructure in Odesa Oblast, causing 2 injuries.
