According to a statement released by Yemen's Minister of Health, Qasim, on the evening of the 15th local time, an attack by Houthi forces that afternoon targeted the Maashiq Palace in Yemen's temporary capital, Aden, resulting in 5 deaths and 16 injuries. The casualties included on-site security personnel and government staff.
Qasim pointed out that this attack once again targeted government institutions, similar to the incident in December 2020 when the Yemeni government was attacked at Aden International Airport.
Yemen's Prime Minister, Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed, stated that the government will continue to fulfill its responsibilities and maintain contact with the public.
