Overview
The Boeing YF-118G Bird of Prey was a revolutionary experimental aircraft developed as a platform to explore and refine stealth technology. The YF-118G Bird of Prey was a Boeing Phantom Works demonstrator built to test low-observable shaping, rapid prototyping, and unconventional aircraft construction methods. It was not a combat aircraft program; its value was in proving design and manufacturing techniques that could later inform stealth aircraft and unmanned systems.
