Indian Mirage 2000 variant named Vajra
mediumThe Mirage 2000H/TH was acquired by India as a high-performance multirole fighter and later upgraded to the Mirage 2000I/TI standard.
India acquired the Dassault Mirage 2000H and two-seat 2000TH variants during the 1980s, where the aircraft received the name Vajra. The type gave the Indian Air Force a modern delta-wing fighter with strong high-altitude performance and precision-strike potential. Dassault later supported a major upgrade programme, with modernized aircraft designated Mirage 2000I/TI.
