The Type 95 (QBZ-95) is a bullpup assault rifle developed by Norinco, designed to replace the Type 81 with improved reliability and adaptability. It fires the 5.8×42mm DBP87 cartridge and features a short-stroke gas piston system, with an improved version (QBZ-95-1) offering enhanced ergonomics and functionality, including the ability to launch rifle grenades.
