On September 27 local time, the security department of the Gezira State government in central Sudan reported that a strategic fuel storage facility located on the outskirts of the state capital, Wad Madani, was attacked by drones from the Sudan Rapid Support Forces early that morning, resulting in a large fire. Firefighters are currently engaged in firefighting operations, and the casualties and material losses from the attack remain unclear.
