The spokesperson for the China Coast Guard, Jiang Lue, stated that on May 6, the Chinese side conducted a normal ecological environment survey near the Chinese Huiteng Reef with the vessel Yang Hong 33. During this period, a Philippine Coast Guard aircraft intentionally approached and harassed the operation. The China Coast Guard monitored and managed the situation in accordance with the law and regulations, ensuring the safety of the Chinese vessel's operations, which were conducted in a professional and standard manner throughout. The statements made by the Philippine side are a distortion of the truth, disregarding the facts, and attempting to confuse the public. We warn the Philippine side to immediately cease illegal interference and smear campaigns.
