“Time to take off!” With the tower's command issued, multiple types of fighter jets took off in succession, rapidly maneuvering towards the target airspace. A multi-type coordinated training exercise, integrated into a real combat scenario, commenced at a certain unit of the Southern Theater Command Air Force.
“01, be advised, two ‘enemy’ aircraft detected on the left wing.” The alarm suddenly sounded, and the Red Force pilots tasked with protection quickly seized advantageous positions, maneuvering with heavy loads towards the incoming ‘enemy’ aircraft. In the clouds above, the Red and Blue forces engaged in fierce confrontation, with assault group aircraft quietly breaking away from formation, rapidly descending, and approaching the target through ultra-low altitude flight to carry out strikes.
“Report to the command post, target damage accuracy meets standards!” Under unified command, each crew closely coordinated, fully leveraging their respective advantages to achieve a “1+1>2” effect.
After the training concluded, the war eagles returned to their nests. In the debriefing room, the pilots gathered around the tactical sand table, discussing the shortcomings exposed during the training, providing individual feedback item by item, and preparing for the next round of training.
