Anti-Submarine Patrol Aircraft Deploys Depth Charges, Engaging Day and Night!
Recently, at a certain airport,
the Eastern Theater Navy Aviation Corps
multiple aircraft were ordered to taxi out of the runway
and take off with afterburners, heading to the designated airspace.
A round-the-clock, multi-sortie
live deep bomb training commenced.
Upon successfully arriving at the mission airspace,
the crew established command relations with the maritime command group.
Based on intelligence reports from higher-ups about "enemy" activities,
they comprehensively utilized onboard equipment
to search the target maritime area.
"Sonar report, buoy number 6 has detected a suspicious contact."
The sonar position detected a suspicious echo signal.
After continuous tracking,
the target was assessed to be an "enemy" submarine.
The crew then adjusted the aircraft's altitude,
entered the attack route,
established the attack path,
and prepared for the attack.
As the command was issued,
the crew successfully completed
the first round of precise deep bomb drops.
As dusk fell,
higher command reported the target was detected again.
The aircraft decisively adjusted its heading and speed,
quickly maneuvering to the designated position
to prepare for the second strike.
Suddenly, the command group issued a report of
"the aircraft has encountered a fire control system failure."
The crew maintained the aircraft's stable posture
while troubleshooting the fault points.
After successfully resolving the issue,
the crew replanned the flight path
and dropped deep bombs again,
attacking the target.
The warbirds returned home,
and maintenance personnel quickly took their positions,
inspecting, maintaining, and refueling the aircraft,
preparing for another night sortie.
After the debriefing,
the warbirds took off in succession,
and above the sea and air,
a new round of training commenced.
This training thoroughly tested the officers and soldiers'
capabilities for live deep bomb drops at all times,
further optimized the training modes for night live deep bomb drops and
joint air-ground special situation handling,
and effectively honed the unit's anti-submarine warfare capabilities.
