Bahrain Summons Iraqi Charge d'Affaires to Protest Drone Attacks
Xinhua News Agency, Riyadh, April 13 (Reporter Luo Chen, Wang Haizhou) Manama news: The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the charge d'affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Bahrain, Ahmed Ismail Karawi, on the 13th to strongly protest against the continuous drone attacks launched from Iraqi territory targeting Bahrain and other Gulf countries.
Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of the Bilateral Relations Department of the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated while delivering the protest note to the Iraqi charge d'affaires that Iraq has the obligation to respond to the aforementioned threats and attacks. He emphasized that Bahrain reserves the right to take all necessary measures to safeguard national security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents in Bahrain.
