Beware! Japan Takes New Action Involving Long-Range Missiles
According to a report by Kyodo News on the 14th, Japan's Deputy Minister of Defense Yohei Wakabayashi stated in the House of Councillors Cabinet Committee that the intelligence-gathering satellite network "satellite constellation" has been operational since April to ensure the effectiveness of long-range missiles as a "counterstrike capability."
Analysts believe that the role of the "satellite constellation" is akin to the "eyes" of long-range missiles, which can be used to identify and monitor attack targets.
On March 31 of this year, Japan officially deployed the "Type 25 Surface-to-Ship Missile," which has "capability to attack enemy bases" ("counterstrike capability") in Kumamoto Prefecture. This missile has a range of approximately 1,000 kilometers, far exceeding Japan's territorial limits, and possesses significant offensive attributes.
