Xinhua News Agency, Wuhan, August 12 (Gao Yujiao, Li Dongdong) The opening ceremony of the joint training exercise "God Eagle-2026" between China and Belarus was held on August 12 at a training center of the Chinese Air Force.

This joint training focuses on joint urban anti-terror operations, mainly conducting exercises in reconnaissance and counter-reconnaissance, seizing and defending control, and clearing and holding positions, aiming to enhance the joint operational capability for carrying out anti-terror missions and play a positive role in maintaining regional peace and stability.

In addition, both sides will organize special seminars, friendly football matches, cultural exchanges, and other activities during the joint training period.

This is the fourth "God Eagle" series joint training conducted by China and Belarus, which helps further enhance the actual combat capabilities of the participating troops and deepen practical cooperation between the two militaries.
