Chinese Coast Guard spokesperson Jiang Lue stated that on September 29, the Zhujiajian ship fleet of the Chinese Coast Guard conducted routine law enforcement patrols in the waters east of Taiwan Island in accordance with the law. Since September, the Zhujiajian ship fleet has continuously strengthened control over the relevant maritime areas, effectively ensuring normal navigation and operational order, and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests as well as the safety of life and property of the Chinese people, including compatriots from Taiwan. The Chinese Coast Guard will continue to enhance law enforcement patrols in waters under China's jurisdiction, resolutely maintaining national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.
