CIA Recruits Iranian Informants via Social Media

The CIA advises Iranians wishing to make contact to "take appropriate actions" to protect themselves before reaching out, avoiding the use of work computers or personal phones.

The notice states, "If possible, please use a new disposable device," while also advising to "be aware of your surroundings and whether anyone can see your screen or activities," and requests that contacts provide their location, name, occupation, and "ways to obtain information or skills of interest to this agency."
