Recently, a certain unit of the Naval Aviation University set up a realistic training scenario, organizing a full-process simulation of the takeoff and landing of the J-15 carrier-based fighter jet under challenging and strict conditions, solidifying the pilots' foundational flying capabilities on aircraft carriers.

As the exercise began, the support personnel dressed in yellow, green, white, and other colored deck identification uniforms responded to commands and quickly rushed to their respective positions on the ground-based simulated deck. As the aircraft entered the runway, the guide wearing a yellow vest precisely directed the fighter jet into the launch position. The safety officer in a "white vest" quickly checked the preparations before launch.

Once everything was ready, a J-15 fighter jet slid off the deck, simulating takeoff from the ship.

Wang Jie, a certain unit of the Naval Aviation University: The launch process not only tests the ability to cooperate and coordinate but also assesses psychological quality. The guiding personnel must communicate with the pilots using precise guiding actions while closely coordinating with safety officers, maintenance personnel, and support staff at various positions on the deck, all while anticipating potential emergencies and risks.

How to fly on an aircraft carrier is how we practice on land. This simulation of the takeoff and landing process included multiple subjects such as equipment checks, taxiing guidance, process confirmation, and emergency replacement of the arrestor wire, allowing the personnel to enhance their coordination and emergency response skills through realistic training.

Zhang Hengzhi, a certain unit of the Naval Aviation University: In this exercise, we had multiple aircraft to support, continuous mission sorties, and complex weather conditions. We optimized the support process, refined contingency plans, and organized position drills, support coordination, and emergency mobilization, effectively testing our capability to support multiple batches and aircraft for continuous launches.
