Defense Minister Dong Jun held talks in Beijing on the 16th with Thai Defense Minister Atdun, Mongolian Defense Minister Batlout, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Tea Banh, and Singapore Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen, who attended the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum.

Dong Jun stated that global governance is at a critical juncture where progress is essential to avoid regression. Seeking peace, pursuing development, promoting cooperation, and upholding justice are our common aspirations. The Beijing Xiangshan Forum has always adhered to the principles of equality, openness, inclusiveness, and mutual learning, opening the door to dialogue, listening to diverse voices, treating all countries equally, engaging in candid discussions to devise grand strategies, seeking common ground while reserving differences, and pursuing peace and cooperation through collective wisdom in addressing problems. The Chinese military is willing to work hand in hand with all parties to jointly maintain international and regional stability, create a favorable security environment, and safeguard peaceful development.

Atdun highly praised the significant importance of the Beijing Xiangshan Forum and expressed a desire to further strengthen defense cooperation with China in various fields, including joint exercises and humanitarian assistance, fostering mutual trust and win-win benefits, maintaining common interests, and jointly addressing various risks and challenges.

Batlout stated that maintaining long-term friendly relations with China has always been a priority direction of Mongolia's foreign policy. He hopes to further consolidate political mutual trust with China, deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields, and inject more vitality into the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Tea Banh expressed his commitment to continuing the traditional friendship between Cambodia and China, working together with China to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, continuously deepening practical cooperation between the two militaries, and promoting the Cambodia-China community of shared future in the new era to a higher level.

Ng Eng Hen remarked that the relationship between Singapore and China is profound and long-lasting. Singapore firmly adheres to the One China policy, and the two militaries have achieved fruitful results in cooperation in joint exercises, training, and talent development. He expressed a willingness to further enhance high-level exchanges with China, deepen practical cooperation, and promote greater development in military relations between the two countries.
