12月30日，中国人民解放军东部战区继续组织陆军、海军、空军、火箭军兵力，位台岛周边海空域展开对陆对海模拟打击，并组织陆军部队对台岛北部、南部相关海域进行了远程火力实弹射击。
30日上午，东部战区陆军某旅多支远箱火分队多路快速机动至预定阵地完成战前准备。随着指挥员一声令下，数十枚火箭弹呼啸而出。记者通过无人机回传画面看到，海面激起一个个巨大浪柱，所有火箭弹均精确命中预定弹着海域。
东部战区某旅领导表示，随着实战实训深入推进，陆军新型远程火力已经全面融入联合作战体系，具备随时对多种高价值时敏目标进行远程精确打击能力，这次火力试射，是对部队封岛、断链作战能力的一次有效检验。
