► EDGE Group and Brazilian Navy expand partnership to advance maritime capabilities
Abu Dhabi, UAE / São José dos Campos, Brazil: 27 August, 2026 – EDGE Group, a UAE-based advanced technology and defence group, and theBrazilian Navy, through its Naval Aviation Directorate, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a framework for technical cooperation focused on maritime monitoring, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.
Under the agreement, the two parties will explore studies, exchange knowledge, and assess relevant solutions; mature operational concepts and identify technical, logistical, and training requirements; evaluate the feasibility of future initiatives of interest to the Brazilian Navy; and develop human capital dedicated to monitoring and surveillance of Brazil’s maritime space.
The MoU builds on the existing defence cooperation between Brazilian Navy and EDGE Group, establishing a basis for further joint initiatives in support of Brazil’s maritime domain awareness.
