Elbit Sweden shows mobile networking shelter at DALO

Elbit Systems Sweden will unveil its Tactical High Mobility Shelter, a rapidly deployable battlefield networking platform, at DALO Industry Days 2026 in Herning, Denmark, running August 19 to 20, the company announced.

DALO Industry Days is Scandinavia’s largest defense industry exhibition, organized by the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation. This year’s event moved to a newly expanded venue at MCH Messecenter Herning after drawing more than 700 exhibitors and roughly 14,000 attendees in 2025.

The THMS is designed to act as a forward communication and sensing node for distributed land forces, extending both line-of-sight and beyond-line-of-sight connectivity. Elbit Systems Sweden said the system uses a telescopic mast that reaches up to 25 meters (82 feet) and can carry payloads of up to 100 kilograms (220 pounds). The mast deploys automatically, along with an automatic guying rope system, allowing setup in under five minutes.

The company said the shelter operates as a self-contained unit with integrated power generation, allowing up to 24 hours of autonomous operation independent of its host vehicle. It is compatible with both tracked and wheeled platforms and is built to operate in extreme weather and Arctic conditions, according to Elbit Systems Sweden, which develops and manufactures the system in Sweden with a European supply chain.

The modular design allows integration of a range of mission payloads, including tactical communications, electronic warfare systems, surveillance and observation equipment, electro-optical and infrared sensors, satellite communications, tactical 5G technology and high-power laser capabilities.

Elbit Systems Sweden said it previously demonstrated the THMS during one of Europe’s largest live demonstrations of digitalized land force networks, presenting the system to European and NATO customers as part of a field exercise focused on modern land operations.
