Establishing and Practicing a Correct View of Achievements: Calibrating the Value Coordinates of Entrepreneurship and Promoting the Transformation of Learning and Educational Outcomes

China Central Television Network reports (News Broadcast): The establishment and practice of a correct view of achievements through learning and education has been continuously deepened and solidified across the military. A certain air force aviation brigade and the Armed Police Falcon Assault Team closely align with the goals and requirements of the learning and education initiative, integrating it with the deepening of ideological rectification and the advancement of political training, promoting a unified approach to learning, inspection, and improvement. This guides officers and soldiers to calibrate their values in work and entrepreneurship, transforming the gains from learning and education into the driving force and effectiveness for promoting high-quality development of the troops.

Since the launch of the learning and education initiative, the air force aviation brigade has conducted an in-depth examination of deviations in the view of achievements related to combat readiness and warfare, correcting previous one-sided perceptions such as the "only flying hours" theory. The focus of training has shifted towards practical tasks and typical air situations, encouraging pilots to practice hard skills without reservation.

During the learning and education process, the brigade's party committee has engaged in reflective analysis around topics such as "public spirit versus personal gain," "striving for excellence versus just getting by," and "practical work versus complacency." They have profoundly examined the original intentions, standards, and conditions of their work and entrepreneurship, continuously clarifying responsibilities and strengthening accountability through reflection and inquiry. They have identified 15 tendencies related to "vanity projects" and "short-term effects" in past work, educating and guiding officers and soldiers to continuously strengthen their party spirit and correct their value pursuits.

Since the learning and education initiative began, members of the Armed Police Falcon Assault Team's party committee have engaged in discussions and research at the squad level, focusing on correcting issues in military training such as "emphasizing processes over practical combat" and "prioritizing results over capabilities." They have resolutely corrected the erroneous perception that "the duration of hardship equals effective training," halting the military's repetitive, inefficient training practices while maintaining extreme environments and training standards. They insist on adding challenging and difficult subjects based on real combat requirements.

In the learning and education process, the military's party committee has tightly focused on the fundamental function of combat. They have addressed training shortcomings in relation to real anti-terrorism and emergency response tasks, incorporating 114 issues into a list for solid rectification and improvement. A total of 103 various difficult problems have been resolved, effectively promoting the implementation of combat readiness standards throughout the entire process of training and preparation.
