Falling from the Sky, Forging the "Vanguard" of Water Rescue!
Recently, a certain brigade of the 82nd Group Army of the Central Theater Command organized specialized training for helicopter water rescue and hoisting operations
in close alignment with real combat requirements.
This comprehensive training hones the crew's coordination, emergency response,
and precise rescue capabilities,
helping soldiers develop "hardcore skills" for water rescue.
Upon receiving a report of "distress,"
the helicopter swiftly took off and flew to the target water area.
The mission crew autonomously planned the flight route and conducted area scans,
focusing on key inspections and launching a net-style search.
After successfully locking onto the position of the "person in the water,"
they immediately assessed the water flow rate,
changes in wind direction, and the condition of the injured.
They quickly finalized the hoisting rescue plan.
The helicopter smoothly adjusted its posture and approached the water surface,
ensuring the safety and stability of the rescue personnel's descent.
The pilot firmly grasped the control stick and finely adjusted the flight parameters,
achieving stable hovering at the designated altitude.
The rescue personnel descended from the cabin door along the rope,
spreading their limbs and adjusting their center of gravity,
maintaining a stable posture.
As they approached the water surface, they seized a gap in the waves and decisively entered the water,
quickly approaching the "person in the water" and accurately binding and securing them.
They completed the entire set of rescue actions, including connection and signaling, in one go.
After several days of high-intensity water training with dozens of flights,
the brigade not only developed a set of practical emergency rescue action standards,
but also cultivated a group of key personnel who possess all-weather hoisting rescue capabilities through rigorous assessments.
In the next step, they will align with the new outline standards,
conduct training with increased difficulty and rigor,
solidify training results,
further enhance coordinated rescue capabilities,
and ensure readiness to engage and efficient handling in emergencies.
