Recently, a certain unit of the Southern Theater Command Navy held

a reward ceremony for the 300-meter saturation diving training mission

where officers and soldiers gathered together

to witness this glorious moment

as four "Deep Sea Warriors" took the stage in turn

with a medal and a certificate

representing their hard work day and night

and engraved with the footprints of striving to strengthen maritime capabilities

Not long ago

four saturation divers from this unit

faced the dark environment of the deep sea without fear

and bravely broke through physiological limits

successfully completing the 300-meter saturation diving mission

What is it like when a person dives to 300 meters underwater?

For every 10 meters down in the sea

the pressure increases by 1 atmosphere

at a depth of 100 meters

the water pressure is already equivalent to

the weight of a small car pressing on the palm

in the dark and cold 300-meter deep sea

the human body must withstand 31 atmospheres

which is known as the physiological limit's "no man's land"

In such extreme environments

only the "Deep Sea Warriors" who dare to face risks and are willing to fight

can complete various scheduled tasks

building a safety barrier at sea with steel and iron

After the meeting, the officers and soldiers of this unit expressed

that they would take the advanced models as examples

to focus on their respective positions, honing their skills

and always maintain a state of readiness to fight at any time

to resolutely complete the various missions assigned by the Party and the people
