Heroes Welcome Heroes! Yang Gensi, Chen Dong, Qi Guangpu and others will welcome the remains of the volunteer army martyrs home.

This morning, a press conference for the repatriation and burial of the thirteenth batch of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs' remains in South Korea was held in Shenyang. The Ministry of Veterans Affairs announced the relevant arrangements:

1. Continuously illuminate the hero meets hero activity.

This event specially invited representatives from the heroic company named after the special-class combat hero Yang Gensi, commander of the Shenzhou 20 flight crew Chen Dong, astronaut Wang Jie, and Winter Olympic medalists Qi Guangpu, Wu Yu.

2. Plan to carry out patriotic education for young people.

In Dandong, the departure site for the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, red education for young people will be conducted. Representatives from the Young Pioneers of Mao Anying Primary School in Dandong and Yang Gensi Primary Schools in Jiangsu and Henan, as well as representatives from students in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and a delegation of young cadres from central and state organs, arrived in Dandong yesterday. Through activities such as visiting the Dandong ship, the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea Memorial Hall, and holding a ceremony by the river to honor the martyrs, they pay tribute to and commemorate the heroes.
