Xinhua News Agency, Kuwait City, October 5 (Reporter Yin Zha) - Sana'a reports: According to the Masirah TV station controlled by the Houthi armed group in Yemen, the capital Sana'a, controlled by the organization, was hit by Saudi Arabian airstrikes on the same day, triggering multiple intense explosions, resulting in 1 death and 2 injuries.

The report stated that the airstrike targeted the northeastern region of Sana'a. In addition, residents of Sana'a told Xinhua reporters that explosions were heard continuously in the urban area.

Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, announced on social media on the 5th that 100 fighter jets from the coalition participated in the "Yemen Dawn" military operation early that morning, destroying 324 high-value targets, and strikes against mobile targets are still ongoing.

On the 5th, Rashad al-Alimi, chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, issued a statement through the Saba news agency controlled by the Yemeni government, announcing the launch of the "Yemen Dawn" operation to restore the functioning of national institutions, liberate the capital Sana'a, and end the Houthi armed rebellion.
