Xinhua News Agency, Kuwait City, September 9 (Reporter Yin Zhao) - Sana'a reports: The Yemeni Houthi armed group stated on the 9th that Saudi Arabian warplanes have launched 32 airstrikes on four provinces in Yemen in the past few hours.

According to reports from the Houthi-controlled Masirah TV, in the past few hours, Saudi warplanes have conducted 32 airstrikes in multiple locations in Marib Province, Al-Jawf Province, Taiz Province, and Al-Hudaydah Province. The report did not specify the exact targets of the attacks or any casualties or property damage.

The Saudi side has not yet responded to this.

A military official from the Yemeni government forces told Xinhua reporters that the targets of the Saudi airstrikes were areas controlled by the Houthi armed group, aimed at providing air support to the government forces. Currently, ground battles between the Houthis and government forces are still ongoing.

On the 8th, the Saudi side stated that the Houthi armed group had attacked multiple civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, resulting in 73 injuries, including women and children. Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, said that this attack represents a "dangerous escalation," and the coalition will take measures to prevent further attacks.
