On the 3rd local time, Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi, stated during an inspection of the Haifa naval base that there is "no ceasefire" for the Israeli military in Lebanon, and that the IDF is ready to resume combat against Iran at any time.

Halevi noted that the Israeli Navy is becoming "another long-range strategic force" of the Israeli military. He stated that since taking office, he has instructed to strengthen the Navy as a long-range strategic force, and the IDF is currently accelerating the implementation of this operational concept.
