Recently, Xu Bin, a soldier from a certain brigade of the Southern Theater Command Navy,

received a banner sent by local fisherman Chen Xiangqian.

Behind this banner

is the courage and responsibility of the people stepping up in times of danger.

That day, while Xu Bin was out,

he was on a fishing boat passing by an island

when he suddenly spotted a figure lying on a buoy not far away.

The crew quickly maneuvered the boat closer,

but the dense oyster farming buoys and ropes

completely blocked the navigation channel,

making it impossible for the fishing boat to approach.

Due to the prolonged high temperatures and long immersion in seawater,

the fallen fisherman was already exhausted.

The swift current could at any moment

toss him deep into the oyster beds or pull him underwater.

The situation was extremely critical.

“There’s no time, I’m going in,”

Xu Bin did not hesitate for a moment.

He grabbed a life jacket

and jumped into the water.

The sharp oyster shells and shells on the oyster beds

cut deep gashes into his calves.

Xu Bin endured the pain

and quickly swam towards the location of the fallen fisherman.

not long after, Xu Bin reached the fisherman’s side,

helped him put on the life jacket,

Since joining the army,

also occurred with Zhou Xu, a soldier from a certain communication regiment.

On the night of the incident,

Zhou Xu was taking a walk by the sea

when he suddenly noticed someone falling into the water.

Without a moment to think,

he rushed forward to rescue.

Due to the strong current at night,

the person in the water was struggling uncontrollably,

making the rescue much more difficult.

But relying on his solid training background,

he calmly approached the person in the water

and worked hard to bring them back to shore.

Afterward, Zhou Xu immediately

checked the condition of the rescued individual and calmed their emotions.

Once the person was stable,

he handed them over to their family and the police before quietly leaving.

After the incident, the rescued individual and their family

found Zhou Xu through various inquiries

and specially came to the unit to present a banner in thanks.

The local police station also sent a letter of appreciation,

highly praising his commendable qualities of bravery and willingness to help others.

It is understood that Zhou Xu is diligent and hardworking in his daily work,

performing excellently and always holding himself to military standards.

During his time at the Naval Non-Commissioned Officer Academy,

he won second place in a mass training competition,

was awarded the “Four Haves” Excellent Soldier once,
