as a symbolic vessel for the Indonesian Navy's external exchanges
the Indonesian Navy's training ship "Bima Suci"
slowly arrived at a military port in Shanghai
to begin a four-day friendly visit
This is the third visit of the ship to Shanghai
and the fourth visit of Indonesian Navy vessels to Shanghai

At around 1 PM
the Indonesian Navy's training ship "Bima Suci"
docked under the guidance of the Chinese Navy's Tai'an ship
On the dock
Chinese naval officers and soldiers were lined up neatly
with welcome banners raised on site
playing the "Welcome March"
to warmly welcome the Indonesian Navy friends who came across the sea

During the visit
the navies of China and Indonesia will carry out a series of exchange activities
including a deck reception
mutual visits to vessels, basketball friendly matches, and more
The Indonesian Navy's training ship "Bima Suci"
along with its military band will also perform
marching performances at the Bund
In addition
Indonesian Navy representatives will visit Shanghai's Yuyuan Garden
Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street
and the Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower among other city landmarks
to experience the urban charm and rich cultural heritage of Shanghai up close

The Indonesian Navy's training ship "Bima Suci"
is 111.2 meters long, 13.65 meters wide
with a standard displacement of 2,346 tons
and has 26 sails
capable of excellent ocean navigation
The ship previously made friendly visits to Shanghai in September 2019 and September 2024
As one of the foreign military vessels that have visited Shanghai multiple times
this visit aims to further enhance the friendship between the two navies
deepen practical exchanges and cooperation between the officers and soldiers of both sides
