On July 13 local time, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement claiming that in the fifth phase of their retaliatory operations, they not only precisely struck U.S. military facilities and infrastructure located in Bahrain's Juffair, causing significant damage, but also successfully destroyed Oman’s FPS radar and ship detection radar.
The Revolutionary Guard also stated that the only way to restore normal shipping in the Strait of Hormuz is for the U.S. to stop interfering in the strait and to respect the sovereignty of countries over their coastal waters.
