Iran claims to have shot down enemy drone, Jordan claims to have shot down 4 Iranian missiles
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, July 13 - Iranian media reported on the 13th that the Iranian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed an enemy drone in the port of Abadan. The report stated that the drone was a "Lukas" suicide drone, which was shot down with precision.
On the same day, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement saying that the IRGC attacked a U.S. military base located in Kuwait, destroying two "HIMARS" rocket launcher positions and an ammunition depot.
Additionally, Jordanian media reported on the same day that the Jordanian armed forces intercepted and shot down four Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace.
The latest statement from the public relations department of the IRGC on the 13th said that in response to the U.S. military attacks, the IRGC also struck a U.S. facility and infrastructure located in Bahrain, and destroyed a long-range aerial surveillance radar and a ship detection radar located within Oman.
Earlier that day, the IRGC had issued a statement saying that the IRGC Aerospace Force destroyed the fuel depot and "Patriot" air defense system at the Ali Salem Air Base in Kuwait, as well as a strategic-level FPS radar system at the Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base.
