According to Iranian sources, on the 9th local time, the Iranian Army's Public Relations Department issued a statement saying that in light of the U.S. military's attacks on multiple locations and military units in Iran, the Iranian military continued to strike U.S. military bases in the region that morning.

The statement noted that the Iranian military used military drones to target facilities including the "Patriot" missile defense system at the U.S. military base in Kuwait, satellite communication early warning facilities at the U.S. military base in Qatar, and fuel depots at the U.S. military base in Bahrain.

Earlier that day, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that Iran struck multiple U.S. military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to the U.S. side's breach of its commitments, warning that if U.S. aggressive actions were to recur, the scope of retaliation would expand to other U.S. military bases in the Middle East.
