Iran Reiterates No Intention to Negotiate with the U.S. "Fight as Long as You Want"
Mohammad Mohbehl, a senior assistant to the late Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei, said on the 4th that Iran has no intention of negotiating with the United States, and the war can "last as long as we want."
In an interview broadcast on the same day by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Mohbehl stated, "The U.S. does not want to occupy Iran, but rather to divide Iran," and emphasized that Iran "does not trust the Americans and has no intention of negotiating with the U.S."
Mohbehl also mentioned that Iran can fight "as long as we want," just like during the Iran-Iraq War from 1980 to 1988.
