According to news from Iran on the 3rd, Iran's acting Defense Minister Ibrahim Raisi stated during a phone call with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar that Iran's acceptance of the ceasefire arrangement in the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding is to help restore stability in the region and is also in response to the request of friendly neighboring countries. Given the historical breaches of promises by the United States, Iran has no trust in the U.S. side. The Iranian armed forces remain on high alert, and any violation of the memorandum of understanding will be met with a response.
