On May 31 local time, a U.S. official revealed that Iran launched a ballistic missile attack against a U.S. airbase located in Kuwait last week, resulting in minor injuries to 4 U.S. servicemen and 3 contractors. The official stated that all 7 injured personnel returned to duty within 24 hours.
U.S. Central Command previously reported that Iran fired a ballistic missile at Kuwait at 8:17 PM Eastern Time on the 27th, which was successfully intercepted by Kuwaiti forces.
