The source indicated that after the Supreme National Security Council of Iran approved the overall framework of the memorandum on the 13th, a Qatari delegation arrived in Tehran on the morning of the 14th to coordinate on the remaining contentious issues. During this time, Israel launched an attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon, escalating tensions.
The source said that Iran was then prepared to launch a new round of large-scale military strikes against Israel, and negotiations were on the verge of collapse. However, with the intervention of U.S. President Trump, the U.S. proposed new concessions in exchange for Iran refraining from striking Israel.
