Iranian Media: Multiple Locations in Iran Attacked by US Military
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, July 16 (Reporter Shadati) - According to reports from the Iranian Mehr News Agency, multiple locations in Iran's Hormozgan Province, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, and Khuzestan Province were subjected to a new round of attacks by the U.S. military that lasted for several hours in the early hours of the 16th local time.
The report stated that U.S. artillery struck areas in southern Iran, including Sirik, Abbas Port, and Qeshm Island, with the extent of the damage in each location yet to be determined and announced after further investigation.
Earlier, the U.S. Central Command posted on social media that the U.S. military launched the second wave of strikes against Iran on the 15th at 3 PM Eastern Time (3 AM Beijing Time on the 16th).
