Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, July 8 - The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the 8th, condemning the "U.S. military's military aggression against multiple monitoring centers along Iran's southern coast," stating that any actions by other countries in the region assisting the U.S. military would "constitute complicity in the crime of aggression."

The statement said that the U.S. military's continuous attacks on Iran severely violate the Iran-U.S. memorandum of understanding. The U.S. attacks undermine Iran's arrangements regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and the U.S. condones Israel's continued military aggression against Lebanon, rendering the memorandum "ineffective." The U.S. should bear all consequences resulting from this escalation of the situation.

The statement emphasized that all countries, especially those located on the southern shore of the Persian Gulf, "have an obligation to prevent the U.S. military from using their territory and facilities to carry out aggression against Iran." The Iranian armed forces will "continue, as always, to defend Iran's territorial integrity without hesitation," oppose U.S. "military aggression," and strike at the sources and initiators of the aggression.
