Iran's Ministry of Defense Says Iran Has Produced Over 1,000 Types of Weapons and Equipment
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, April 25 - According to a report by the Iranian Fars News Agency on the 25th, a spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Defense stated that thanks to a "completely autonomous, knowledge-based, and uniquely Iranian" approach, Iran has produced over 1,000 types of weaponry, including missiles and drones.
The spokesperson indicated that this production capability is the result of more than 25 years of investment and procurement in Iran's defense industry. Even if some production centers are damaged, the "tangible or intangible" weapon production and supply chain can continue to operate nationwide.
The spokesperson also mentioned that currently, about 9,000 companies are collaborating with the armed forces and the Ministry of Defense in Iran.
