Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, July 23 - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued two statements on the 23rd directed at the people of Jordan and Kuwait, stating that in response to U.S. military actions against Iran, Iran has carried out strikes on U.S. military facilities within Jordan and Kuwait.

The statements cited by the Islamic Republic News Agency indicated that within Jordan, Iran attacked a U.S. military base, destroying a "THAAD" missile defense system radar, a "Patriot" air defense system, and a counter-rocket, artillery, and mortar system, as well as striking the base's fuel storage facilities and a helicopter equipment warehouse and maintenance facility.

Another statement noted that within Kuwait, Iran attacked two helicopter hangars at Ali Al-Salem Air Base, resulting in casualties among U.S. personnel and damaging several helicopters and drones. The statement also mentioned that Iran struck a communication tower in response to previous U.S. attacks on Iranian communication facilities.

Both statements emphasized that Iran respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Jordan and Kuwait, and the targets of the attacks were U.S. military facilities within these two countries, not the countries themselves; the U.S. military has used these bases to launch military actions against Iran, thus Iran has the right to strike relevant military targets.
