Iran's Revolutionary Guard: Intercepted 6 Vessels in the Strait of Hormuz in the Last 24 Hours
On the 26th local time, Iran cited information from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stating that the IRGC Navy is continuously implementing control over approximately 240,000 square kilometers of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz through uninterrupted patrols and monitoring.
The report stated that the IRGC declared that any vessel that does not accept and comply with the orders and regulations set by Iran will not be able to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC also mentioned that U.S. military forces had attempted to change the vessels' routes but were met with warning shots from the Iranian side, forcing the relevant vessels to return.
