Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon Kill 15 People
Xinhua News Agency, Beirut, May 10 (Reporter Shen Feng) According to news from the Lebanese National News Agency and the Ministry of Health on the 9th, Israel launched a series of airstrikes on multiple locations in southern Lebanon that day, resulting in at least 15 deaths, including one child, and many others injured.
The Lebanese Hezbollah stated that it fired rockets at Israeli military vehicles and troop assembly areas near the Lebanon-Israel border in response to Israel's violation of the ceasefire agreement.
At midnight on April 17, a temporary ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel took effect for 10 days. On the 23rd of the same month, U.S. President Trump announced a three-week extension of the Lebanon-Israel ceasefire.
