Israeli Army Claims to Have Killed Over 40 Hezbollah Armed Personnel
Xinhua News Agency, Jerusalem, April 2 (Reporter Wang Zhuolun, Pang Xinyi) The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement on the afternoon of the 2nd, saying that in the past 24 hours, the IDF has continued to strike at the infrastructure of Hezbollah in Lebanon through aerial, naval, and ground operations, killing more than 40 Hezbollah militants.
The statement said that the IDF is currently continuing "targeted" ground operations in southern Lebanon, in coordination with the Air Force and Navy to carry out joint strikes. The Air Force has targeted dozens of sites in the past 24 hours, including command centers, weapon storage facilities, launch sites, and anti-tank missile positions. The Navy also conducted precise strikes on a weapons depot in southern Lebanon.
In terms of ground operations, the IDF has dismantled hundreds of infrastructure sites, including anti-tank positions, observation posts, underground hideouts, and weapon depots, and has seized weapons such as anti-tank missiles, rifles, ammunition, and grenades.
