According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli military conducted operations on the West Bank and in multiple locations in Jerusalem on the 19th, arresting at least 31 Palestinians, including Ashraf Awad, the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs for the Palestinian Authority.

Reports indicate that Israeli forces raided Awad's residence in the Silwan neighborhood, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, and arrested him. Awad had been banned by Israeli authorities from entering the West Bank since January of this year.
