梅洛尼当天出席在巴黎举行的“志愿联盟”会议,她重申意方将继续支持乌克兰,并再次明确意方在安全保障问题上的几项立场,特别是排除了意大利在乌克兰部署军队的可能性。
意大利总理府当天发表声明说,“志愿联盟”各国是否参与多国部队完全基于自愿原则;如果未来发生武装攻击,各国在决定是否采取支持乌克兰的行动时必须遵循本国宪法程序。
“志愿联盟”由英国和法国主导,旨在为乌克兰提供安全保障并制订结束俄乌冲突的计划。
