The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces stated on the 13th local time that the Jordanian air defense system successfully intercepted and shot down four missiles that had entered Jordanian airspace from the direction of Iran in the early hours of that day.

The Jordanian side stated that this interception operation was completed efficiently and is part of the military measures taken by the Jordanian Armed Forces to maintain national sovereignty, ensure national security, and protect the lives of citizens. The incident did not result in any casualties or property damage.

The Jordanian side indicated that the Royal Engineering Corps of Jordan has disposed of the missile debris and fragments scattered in multiple locations according to relevant technical and safety procedures, and has taken necessary measures to ensure site safety and protect the public and property.

Earlier that day, the public relations department of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that the naval forces of the Revolutionary Guard intercepted two "violating" vessels on the night of the 12th, after which the U.S. military launched an attack on the coastal bases of the Iranian armed forces. In response, the Revolutionary Guard struck U.S. Air Force bases located in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, destroying multiple facilities.
