Reporter: The military strikes by the United States and Israel against Iran have continued for several days. What is your comment on the current situation?

Jiang Bin: The United States and Israel have launched military strikes against Iran without authorization from the Security Council, during the Iran-U.S. negotiation process, which seriously violates international law and the basic principles of international relations. China firmly opposes the infringement of other countries' sovereignty and security, and opposes the abuse of force and the law of the jungle. We are deeply concerned about the prolongation of the conflict and its spillover effects on neighboring countries. We have always believed that force is not the correct way to resolve international disputes; prolonging or even escalating conflicts has no winners and will only push the situation in the Middle East towards a dangerous abyss, bringing greater disaster to the people of the region. The urgent task is for all parties to immediately cease military actions and return to the path of resolving issues through dialogue and negotiation, jointly maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East and the world.
