Reporter: Recently, President Xi Jinping held talks with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. The China-Russia joint statement mentioned cooperation in the military field. How will the Chinese side implement this?

Jiang Bin: This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Russia strategic cooperative partnership and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation. President Xi Jinping and President Putin met again in Beijing to outline and deploy new plans for the development of China-Russia relations. The joint statement emphasizes that both sides will continue to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two militaries, enhance mutual trust in the military field, improve cooperation mechanisms, expand joint exercises and maritime and aerial joint patrols, and strengthen coordination and cooperation under bilateral and multilateral frameworks to jointly address various risks and challenges, and maintain global and regional security and stability.

The development of China-Russia military relations has always adhered to the principles of non-alignment, non-confrontation, and not targeting third parties.
