Some of these rockets were intercepted, while others landed in open areas, causing no casualties.
According to Israeli media reports earlier on the 30th, Hezbollah fired a "large number" of rockets at northern Israel in the early hours of that day. One rocket exploded after landing in the northern Israeli town of Shlomi, causing damage to buildings, but no injuries were reported. The remaining rockets were intercepted by Israel's air defense systems.
The IDF stated in another announcement on the 30th that as the Israeli military expands its operations in southern Lebanon, it is preparing for possible attacks originating from within Lebanon, primarily targeting northern Israel.
The IDF Arabic spokesperson issued a warning on social media earlier that day, urging residents of several villages and towns in southern Lebanon to evacuate to areas north of the Hasbani River.
Recently, the IDF announced a "strong strike" against Hezbollah, declaring that all areas south of the Hasbani River are considered a "combat zone." The IDF had previously mainly operated south of the Litani River, with the Hasbani River located much further north than the Litani River.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated on the 29th that the IDF has crossed the Litani River, advancing north and capturing high ground. The scope of IDF operations also includes the Lebanese capital Beirut and the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, covering the "entire front line."

One rocket exploded in the town of Shimon, damaging buildings but causing no injuries.
