PLA Daily, Vladivostok, June 23 - Zheng Hongsheng, reporter Xu Lin reported: The Chinese Navy's 83rd Fleet, which is on a long-range comprehensive training and visiting mission, arrived at Vladivostok, Russia, on the 23rd, beginning a four-day friendly visit to Russia.

On the morning of the 23rd local time, the Chinese Navy's destroyer Qi Jiguang and the supply ship Kunlunshan slowly docked at the Vladivostok port amid warm welcomes. The officers and soldiers lined up on the deck to wave to the welcoming crowd. More than 200 people, including staff from the Chinese Consulate General in Vladivostok, local Chinese expatriates, representatives from Chinese-funded institutions, students, and representatives from the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet, gathered at the dock to greet them.

During the visit, Chinese Navy officers and soldiers will tour the Russian destroyer "Marshal Shaposhnikov" and the Pacific Fleet Museum, and engage in professional and cultural exchange activities with Russian Navy personnel. The Qi Jiguang and Kunlunshan will also hold ship open days and deck receptions.
